Role: Front of House Assistant

Hours: 30 hours per week
The Front of House Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our customers at Flavours Bistro. This position serves as the face of our bistro, greeting patrons, managing reservations, and overseeing the flow of service. The Front of House Assistant will collaborate closely with our Catering team and other staff members to uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers with warmth and hospitality, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and customer enquiries both inperson and over the phone.
- Develop and maintain our social media presence.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining area.
- Handle guest feedback and address any concerns or special requests with professionalism.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including cash handling, invoicing, and recordkeeping.
- Uphold high standards of food safety, sanitation, and guest satisfaction.
The role will be predominately during Monday to Friday. However, during events, the hours of work will include occasional evenings and weekends.

- Barista Experience
