Saint Catherine’s is looking for a dynamic and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team for an exciting 12-month fixed-term opportunity. Working closely with our Communications and Marketing Officer, you'll play a key role in telling the story of Saint Catherine’s—supporting vital work across our services, fundraising, and community engagement efforts.
From managing social media channels to supporting impactful campaigns and creating content that resonates, this is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
What you'll be doing:
- Creating and scheduling engaging content for digital platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and our website
- Supporting marketing campaigns, appeals, and event promotions
- Assisting with content creation—copywriting, photography, and video editing
- Helping to keep our website and materials up to date and on-brand
- Providing admin support for marketing projects and coordinating with external suppliers
- Monitoring campaign performance and digital analytics
What we’re looking for:
The successful candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues across a multidisciplinary team. You’ll be confident in sharing information, building relationships, and collaborating with professionals from a variety of backgrounds.
You’ll also bring:
- Suitable experience in a marketing, communications, or digital media role
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Confidence using digital tools (social media platforms, CMS, analytics dashboards, etc.)
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive, team-focused approach
- A flexible mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly and juggle multiple tasks
